Coachella - Nochella! (part 1)

Click for English! Ήταν το πρώτο Σαββατοκύριακο της Coachella και η αρχική στο Instagram κυριολεκτικά είχε βομβαρδιστεί από stories και φωτογραφίες μπροστά από τη χαρακτηριστική ρόδα! Μερικές φορές λέμε πως το φεστιβάλ έχει χάσει το νόημά του με τα χρόνια, πως μόνο τα social media μετράνε, πως κανείς δεν είναι εκεί για να ευχαριστηθεί τη μουσική, αλά ας το παραδεχτούμε! ΠΟΙΟΣ ΔΕΝ ΘΑ ΗΘΕΛΕ ΝΑ ΕΙΝΑΙ ΕΚΕΙ ΤΩΡΑ?! Εγώ πάντως θα ήθελα!! Και γι αυτό το συγκεκριμένο post θα είναι ένα love letter σε αυτό το πάρτυ ακόμα κι αν δεν είσαι εκεί! Καταρχάς, το φεστιβάλ από μόνο του έχει εξελιχθεί τα τελευταία χρόνια. Δεν είναι μόνο για τη μουσική ή τη μόδα. Είτε σ'αρέσουν τα συγκροτήματα που παίζουν και η μουσική τους είτε όχι, σίγουρα θα περάσεις καλά. Υπάρχουν αρκετά πάρτυ. Pool πάρτυ, με θέμα ντυσίματος, cocktail πάρτυ, τα πάντα. Υπάρχει ακόμα και μια τεράστια ρόδα, σαν ένα λούνα παρκ! Και όχι μόνο αυτό, αλλά φέτος υπήρχε και ένα πάρτυ με θέμα τα neon χρώματα. Μπορείς να κάνεις πικ νικ με μια πανέμορφη θέα, να πιεις με τους φίλους σου, να κάνεις καμπινγκ (περίπου), ακόμα και να διοργανώσεις το δικό σου theme πάρτυ. Και δεν θέλω καν να ξεκινήσω να σκέφτομαι τις επιλογές που έχει για φαγητό. Όσο για το στυλ, δεν μιλάμε για street style, αλλά για chella style! Φαίνεται πως είναι τάση από μόνο του και όλοι χρησιμοποιούν αυτή τη λέξη ακόμα και στην καθημερινότητά τους. Μπορείς να φορέσει οτιδήποτε και τα πάντα , αρκεί να είναι αυθεντικό και κάπως boho. Ποτέ δεν θα χάσεις αν είσαι σε mode "καλοκαιρινή συναυλία". Ο καθένας προετοιμάζεται για το φεστιβάλ για μέρες, ψωνίζοντας και ψάχνοντας τα κατάλληλα ρούχα και κομμάτια να φορέσει, αλλά αυτό ξεκίνησε πολύ πιο απλό. Στην αρχή, το μόνο που είχε σημασία ήταν να ήσουν grunge και να υιοθετούσες το spring girl μέσα σου. Τώρα θα σου δείξω τους πιο απλούς τρόπους για να φέρεις την Coachella εκεί που θα είσαι το καλοκαίρι!

It was the first Coachella weekend and my Instagram feed was literally bombed by the amount of stories and pictures in front of the ferris wheel! We sometimes imply that the festival lost its meaning throughout the years, that only social media and "fame" matter, that no one is there to enjoy the music, but let's face it! WHO WOULDN'T WANNA BE THERE R NOW?! I know I would!! And that's why this post is gonna be a love letter to this party even if you're not there! First of all, the whole festival itself has evolved the last couple of years. It's not just about music or fashion. Whether you like the music bands that play or not, you will certainly have fun. There are a bunch of parties all over. Pool parties, dress up ones, cocktail ones, everything. It even has a huge ferris wheel, just like a fun fair! Not only that, but this year there was also a neon party. You can have pic nics with a beautiful sunset view, have drinks with your friends, go (kind of) camping, even organize your own little theme party. I don't even want to start thinking of how many food options there are. As for the style, we're not talking about street style, but chella style! It appears to be a trend itself and everyone is using this word even in everyday language. You can wear anything and everyhthing, as long as it is authentic and kind of boho. You can never go wrong if you are on mode "summer concert". Everyone prepares for it for days, shopping and searching the right clothes and pieces to wear, but it started so much simpler. At first, it was just about being grunge and embracing your inner spring girl all together.
