My not-so-casual OOTD!

Click for English! Γεια σας κορίτσια μου! Είναι το πρώτο μας post για OOTD και επειδή δεν υπάρχει τίποτα που να μας εμπνέει περισσότερο, διάλεξα το σημερινό για να ξεκινήσω. Είναι μια από αυτές τις περιπτώσεις, που δεν μπορώ να βάλω τα αγαπημένα μου sneakers και να βγω. Αλλά πρέπει να ευχαριστιόμαστε ότι κι αν φοράμε. Σεμινάριο ή απλώς meeting, το σημερινό μου outfit έχει τέτοιο θέμα, σχεδόν επίσημο. Εγώ, προσωπικά, αλλάζω στυλ ανάλογα με τη διάθεσή μου. Γι αυτό το λόγο, όταν έχω κάποια σημαντική συνάντηση μου αρέσει να συνδυάζω διαφορετικά στυλ. Όπως και οι περισσότερες από εσάς πιστεύω, έχω πολλά τζιν και ποτέ δεν είναι αρκετά! Ειδικά ψηλόμεσα, που έιναι και της μόδας πάλι. Συνήθως διαλέγω κάτι σε skinny που να μην είναι ripped ή used. Ιδιαίτερα στην περίπτωση κάποιας συνέντευξης (ή αν δουλεύεις σε γραφείο) δεν θα το συνιστούσα. Εναλλακτικά, ένα άλλο αγαπημένο είναι το flared τζιν! Το λατρεύω! Κολακεύει όλες μας, ανεξαρτήτως σώματος κι εγώ το φοράω συνέχεια με sneakers. Αλλά ας επανέλθουμε. Τα πουκάμισα, όπως είναι γνωστό, έχουν κυριαρχήσει στο χώρο της μόδας και κυρίως όταν θες να ντυθείς πιο elegant. Εγώ, βέβαια, τα φοράω και στην καθημερινότητά μου. Εδώ, έχω διαλέξει ένα αρκετά loose κομμάτι, κάτι που συνηθίζω, το οποίο έχει το καλό ότι μπορείς να το φορέσεις με διάφορους τρόπους και να πειραματιστείς με το στυλ σου. Φυσικά, επειδή πάντα θέλω να προσθέτω μια παραπάνω λεπτομέρεια, το έχω βάλει από τη μια πλευρά μέσα στο παντελόνι. Το τελευταίο όντας ψηλόμεσο δίνει μια απίστευτη σύγχρονη διάθεση στο σοβαρό σχετικά σύνολο. Οι γόβες για μένα είναι ένα must κομμάτι, αλλά καταλαβαίνω κι εσένα που δεν τις έχεις συνηθίσει ή δεν σ'αρέσουν. Και πίστεψέ με, δεν μπορούμε να τις φοράμε συνεχώς. Εγώ συνήθως διαλέγω τα oxfords μου είτε είναι flatforms είτε όχι. Επίσης, αν με έχεις δει στο Instagram, θα ξέρεις πιθανόν ότι έχω μεγάλη αδυναμία στις μεγάλες τσάντες. Οπότε, δεν υπάρχει περίπτωση να με δεις με ένα τέτοιο σχετικά formal outfit και να μην έχω μια tote ή shoulder bag. Ταιριάζει και απίστευτα με το office look, κλασσικό ή σύγχρονο και χαλαρό.

Styling Tip Εγώ κουμπώνω το πουκάμισο μέχρι πάνω και έτσι δημιουργείται αυτό το σοβαρό ύφος που θες να δώσεις. Δοκίμασέ το! Επίσης, μην φοβηθείς να βάλεις μόνο το μισό πουκάμισο μέσα στο παντελόνι και όχι ολόκληρο, όπως είναι το καθιερωμένο. xoxo, Vaya

Heyy you girls! This is our first OOTD post and since there's nothing that inspires us more, I wanted to start with the today's look. It was one of those occasions that I can't just grab my fav sneakers and go out. But we have to enjoy ourselves with whatever outfit we put together. A seminar or just a meeting, today's outfit is about that semi-formal style. Personally, I change my style according to my mood. That's why, when I have something important to attend or go to, I like to combine different styles. Just like most of you, I have many pairs of jeans and there're never enough! Especially high-waisted ones, that are so in style these days. Usually, I go with a skinny one, probably not ripped or used. In case you have an interview (or work at an office) I would strongly discourage you from wearing something like that. Alternatively, flared jeans are another beloved choice! I adore them! Flattering for everyone, despite body tyoe, and I wear it with sneakers all the time. But let's get back to today. Shirts, as you probably know, are a huge part of fashion and very important when it comes to an elegant look. However, I wear them in my everyday life as well. Today, I've chosen an extremely loose piece, which I often do, and with which you can be creative about the ways to wear it and experiment with your style. Of course, as I always want to add that something to my look, I've put half of the shirt inside the jeans. They're high-waisted, so that way I give that modern attitude in the whole formal outfit. High heels are a must for me, but I also get you if you're not used to them or don't like them. And trust me, we cannot wear them all the time. I usually choose my oxfords, whether they're flatforms or not. Also, if you've seen me on Instagram, you would may know by now that huge bags are my thing. So, there's no chance of you seeing me in a such, kind of formal, outfit and not having a tote or shoulder bag. It goes well with the office look, classic or contemporary and modern, as well.

Styling Tip I button up the shirt all the way, creating that serious vibe I want to have. Try it! Moreover, don't be afraid to do something like putting only half of the shirt inside the jeans, and not the whole thing, as usual. xoxo, Vaya
