Ws for summer, straight from NYFW!

Καλώς ήρθες στον κόσμο μου και την καρδιά της μόδας του Vee for Kayy! Θα πω μόνο αυτό... Ας ξεκινήσουμε! Εβδομάδα Μόδας της Νέας Υόρκης πέρασε και ένας χαμούλης έγινε! Με πολλούς νέους σχεδιαστές, χωρίς μεγάλη διαφορετικότητα ή ποικιλία, αλλά με πολύ ζωντάνια και δημιουργικότητα. Αυτή θα είναι η χρονιά των 70s και 80s. Glitter, λάμψη, fluo χρώματα, σχέδια, “μπλέξιμο” υφασμάτων και στυλ και δεν συμμαζεύεται! Βέβαια, δεν νομίζω πως όλες οι ανερχόμενες τάσεις είναι τόσο καλή ιδέα στην πράξη. MIX & MATCH (again)

WOW!

Πόσο χαριτωμένη είναι αυτή η φούστα στο πρώτο look του Tory Burch?! Επίσης εγώ θα πέθαινα να έχω το παλτό στο τρίτο look του Tome. Αυτή είναι η ρομαντική έκδοση του mix & match που κυριάρχησε. Και αν νομίζετε ότι αυτά είναι πολύ φλόραλ, δεν έχετε δει τίποτα!

WAIT, NO! Και αυτά είναι από τα παραδείγματα που δεν πρέπει να ακολουθήσεις στο Mixing & matching. Όλα τα κομμάτια ξεχωριστά μπορεί να είναι πολύ όμορφα, δεν ισχύει το ίδιο όμως και σε τέτοιους συνδυασμούς! Είναι λεπτή η γραμμή της μόδας με την υπερβολή στην καθημερινότητα! GEOMETRY FORTE

Κάποιοι σχεδιαστές δεν μας απογοητεύουν ποτέ! Και ναι, το καλοκαίρι θα είναι (πάλι) μια σεζόν γεμάτη ρίγες σε όλα τα μεγέθη και σχέδια. Η μαρινιέρα συνεχίζει να κλέβει καρδιές, σε πολλά διαφορετικά χρώματα όμως.

WAIT, NO!

Εδώ μάλλον κάτι έχει πάει στραβά. Στις πασαρέλες μπορεί να φαίνονται όλα εντυπωσιακά, αλλά στην καθημερινότητα –ή ακόμα και στο red carpet, που σίγουρα θα πάμε όλοι μας- δεν μπορείς να τα φορέσεις. Ίσως είναι σαν τα έργα τέχνης. Κοιτάζετε, μην αγγίζετε! Το δίδαγμα ένα: Η ρίγα θέλει ρίγα! Δεν ταιριάζει με κάποιο άλλο σχέδιο. NEON RAINBOW

WOW! Πολύ ροζ φέτος ρε παιδιά! Και αλίμονο σε εμάς που δεν φοράμε κιόλας. Αν διαλέξεις όμως οποιοδήποτε fluo χρώμα στον κατάλληλο τόνο (μα αυτό το Jason Wu φόρεμα), όλα καλά κι εσύ μια θεά!

WAIT, NO!

Μην με παρεξηγείτε, λατρεύω όλους αυτούς του οίκους (και διάλεξα τελείως τυχαία αυτό το χρώμα) αλλά δεν είναι δυνατόν να φορέσουμε νάιλον ή πλαστικό ύφασμα σε απόχρωση μπιζελί. Και φυσικά δεν πιστεύω πως είναι κολακευτικό το slip φόρεμα σε χρώμα lime ή οτιδήποτε παρεμφερές. Μην διστάζεις, πες μου την δική σου γνώμη! xoxo, Vaya

Welcome to my world and the fashion heart of Vee for Kayy! I'll just say this... Let's get started! New York Fashion Week just past by and made its impression once again. With many new designers, not that much of a diversity or variety, but with lots of pep and creativity. This will be the year of 70s and 80s. Glitter, sparkle, fluo colors, patterns, mix & match on fabrics and styles and it goes on and on! However, I don’t think that all of the upcoming trends are such a good idea in reality. MIX & MATCH (AGAIN)

WOW!

How cute is this plaid skirt on the first look of Tory Burch?! Also, I would die to have the coat on the third look of Tome. This is the romantic version of mix & match that stood out. And if you think that's a lot of floral, you haven't seen the last of it.

WAIT, NO! And there are examples that you have to stay away from when mixing & matcing. Probably every single piece of these is beautiful by itself, but that's not the case when it comes to those whole outfits! There's a fine line between fashion and exaggeration in everyday life. GEOMETRY FORTE

WOW! Some designers never seem to dissapoint us! And yeah, summer will (once again) be a season full of stripes in all kinds of sizes and patterns. The navy stripes continues to steal our hearts, in many different colors this time though.

WAIT, NO! Here something might have gone wrong. On the runwways everything may seem impressive, but in real life -or even the red carpet, where we're all going to walk for sure- you can't wear those pieces. Maybe they're more like art. Look but don't touch! The lesson is: stripes need stripes! It hardly goes with another print. NEON RAINBOW

WOW! So much pink this season guys! And then there's us that don't wear pink. But if you pick any fluo color in the right tone (that Jason Wu dress tho), everything is good and you're a goddess!

WAIT, NO! Don't get me wrong, I love all of these designers (and I really chose randomly this color only), but it's impossible to wear nylon or plastic fabric in this pea color. And of course I don't think slip dress in lime color or anything similar is flattering. So guys, tell what do y'all think! xoxo, Vaya
